quote:

Russell Brand inquires about Tucker Carlson's dismissal from FOX, to which Tucker responds that the War in Ukraine is a red line for a lot of people in business and politics:

"They are now supporting sending cluster bombs to the Ukraine. Ukraine is losing the war, obviously. And Ukrainians are dying in huge numbers, and the country is being destroyed. The US could force peace like tonight. They could. Uniquely, they have that power. And they won't, and they are continuing to allow Ukrainians to be killed and that country to be devastated. If you criticize that, they are really intent on making you be quiet."

So we could end it in a day.... or 24 hours.

Russia, Ukraine, the EU have all expressed desires for talks.

The one group that doesnt is the USA. We are in charge of this war.

Okay Tucker, how? And are you willing to hand over Crimea and the border regions permanently to Russia? And isolating Ukraine from the rest of Europe. That’s the big question.

I 100% think the war should be ended that way but these people never give a plan for how to do it.

Doubt it when Trump's buddy Lindsey Graham just announced his intention to push for NATO membership...you know the know the same Lindsey Graham Trump just got done campaigning with because he needs the "Liberal vote".....why does Lindsey Graham feel so comfortable telling Zelensky not worry about what Republican candidates say on the campaign trail? Do we know what Trump promised Graham for his support in South Carolina? How do we feel about the biggest neocon in DC and the biggest Ukraine war supporter having such a poistion of influence in the Trump campaign?

A tv host writing checks that he never has to cash.

Surprising.

Even more surprising that you would take that and immediately use it to advance your agenda for Trump.

Do you want to hand over Crimea or slowly watch the rest of Ukraine get levelled and hundreds of thousands of more die? And don’t give me any bullshite about Russia then moving onto Poland or Finland. The Russians know what that would mean and I think Putin, while a sinister dictator, is smarter than that.

We could, but Russia is hellbent on risking WWIII over something that was already established in the early 90s. Sorry Moscow, but you just don’t have the same power and control anymore. The Eastern Bloc is done being ruled by a bunch of nuts.

The US could have enforced peace in 1942, too. All they had to do was agree to let Japan keep raping Asia and cut off supplies to the USSR and Britain.

Of course we could force peace now. Just make Ukraine accept that Putin gets a bunch of their territory. And in 15 years, when the next Russian tyrant invades the rest of Ukraine (because those Ukrainians just won’t stop picking on defenseless Russians), we just do it again.

I want the war over and for our country to stop finding it.

They have no capability to do so anyway. Neither side has an ability to push the other from the current fronts. Bakhmut alone took tens of thousands of lives to take.

The war is pointless at this point but Russia with the backing of China can keep it going far longer than Ukraine can. That gives them leverage in any negotiations. That’s the point of my previous post. All of these people saying we can negotiate the end of the war in 24 hours say that but never say what that would entail and that most Europeans and probably 40% of Americans (I’m not a part of them) find that to be intolerable.

Russia needs a juicy deal to end the war. The only way to advance the ball and make it more favorable for the US and to hurt BRICS is to hit them on energy which would take time for the next president to do. There is no easy fix.

Was it ever ours to hand over?

I suppose you would also agree that this is not Ukraines war, it is ours. We are just using Ukraine.

That is what you do. Tell Ukraine Russia gets the territory they have and call it a day. Or we not only cut off the supply of weapons and Russia will have all of Ukraine in a month.......AND we ensure that zelensky personally and all his family members will be cut off the SWIFT banking system ensuring he will never spend his ill gotten gain..........he will sign in 24 minutes

Calling a spade a spade isn’t turning on someone.

To pretend Tucker has some sort of inside insight on a war on the other side of the globe involving countries that have fought for centuries and one group committed genocide in the past on the other is asinine.

He gets to spout views that you want to hear and you take it as gospel
