who cares. do you actually let others make decisions for you? bud light made the stupidest decision i have ever seen in an ad campaign. but i never liked their beer anyway (or any other light beer for that matter).

I quit buying Aunt Jemima when it became Pearl Milling Company. I started buying real maple syrup and the difference in taste was a pleasant surprise.

If you like beer, maximize the taste. Go for an amber or darker, even a [cringe] IPA.
If you use syrup, go for pure maple or cane syrup.
