I currently work out at home just with bodyweight and a set of Powerblocks. I understand that this is not ideal for some people, but it's worked for me to this point. I'm curious if anyone has experience or could recommend a good weighted vest. Intention would be to wear for leg workouts, pushups, pullups etc. TIA

Aduro

I use the 12lb for the same home workouts you just mentioned. Very comfortable.

Also look into a sandbag. You can do a lot of exercises with sandbag.

Can anyone speak to the benefits of using one? What about using it as a runner?

Gonna ease into it. I walk a lot as well. Plan is to start there and see how it works for me.

Gonna 2nd the no go on running with one—especially if you run on streets. Your knees and hips already take enough abuse on concrete.

BTW—777’s, I’m about to order crossover symmetry. Which resistance bands did you go with or should I just spend the extra $100 for all weights?

save the money and get this instead

LINK

i have both, the 4kor from amazon is as good or better. unless you are looking of access to the app. thats different.

and i would spend the money to get all the bands if you are going to be using them for lifting.

if just for rehab, just get the athletic package. then add bands as you need to or add the 4kor bands 1 at a time.

Is the programming worth it? It’s going to be for both rehab and strength once I feel like shoulders are in a good spot.

ETA: and by worth it I mean will I be able to find the same stuff online easily or on your drive making it pointless to spend the money on the programming.

I have RunMAX as well. There are cheaper retailers on Amazon. I paid $45 with free shipping for my 20lb vest

Aduro looks nice. The one I have now shakes around too much when walking fast/light jogging. How does this one stack up? Tight fit?

First day wearing it. It has two chest straps for fitting. Between those and the weight of the vest, it doesn't seem to move much. With that said, I walked 6 flights of stairs with it and about a mile so far. No running, jumping, or stuff like that.
