Blondie still rules live - Debbie is 78
I think when Blondie got big, she was in her later 20s or early 30s (Debbie just turned 78) - which at the time was not the norm when you consider bands like the Runaways or even the Go-Go's were very young (Joan Jett is 14 years younger than Debbie, Exene from X is 11 years younger)

About 15 years ago when my SIL was manager of a music venue, I dropped by one afternoon to get a free beer and to visit with him. I looked over to the stage and asked my SIL who is that old hag doing the sound check.
He laughed and said that was Blondie without makeup and her hair styled.
