As a Baton Rouge alumnus, I am deeply concerned about our ability to continue to build a competitive SEC program. After losing 6 games in 2 seasons, should we be looking at our leadship more closely? Althought no one wants to consider it, maybe Coach Miles has indeed gotten a lot of traction off of the talent that he inherited?

I must respectfully disagree (at this point) Miles has had several top notch reccruiting classes including the current 3rd ranked class. He still calls all the plays. Would you say that Saban is sucsessfull due to the recruiting of the previous coach (Shula)? I will say that he is not a good enough coach to compensate for the lack of defensive coaching. If we can land a strong minded disciplinarian at this crucial coaching position we will be fine.

A much as I hate to admit it, Saban is obviously responsible for his own success, as proven by his #1 recruiting class. Our losses seem to grow as Saban's classes diminish and Coach Miles' classes grow.

Miles is playing with what was left after Saban's last class and the dismal class that Saban left Miles with before he left.

2004

2005

The talent on LSU's team is just too young. They will be better next year and the year after.
