Chatsworth, GA Golf Recs?

Going to Fort Mountain State Park in Chatsworth GA the week of Thanksgiving and looking for a decent course to play for 3 of the guys? Any recommendations?
I only see 2 in the immediate area, Spring Lakes Golf Course and Indian Trace Golf Course. Both are about 25 minutes away and cheap $31 for 18 holes & cart. At that rate we can easily afford to play both but has anyone played either of those 2 to recommend one over the other if we only have time for 1 round?
A third I found is Calhoun Elks Lodge & Golf Club that is about 45 minutes away and same $30 price point
I can appreciate a cheap green fee like that but also would not mind paying more for a higher regarded course, but looking to stay within an hour or so of the campground probably.
Thanks in advance.

If you’re willing to look at the Elks Club in Calhoun then go play Fields Ferry there. Better golf course IMO and I’ve played both a lot as I live 30 minutes away from.
Neither of the “local” courses you mentioned are as good as Fields Ferry in my opinion.

Thanks! That's what I thought I could tell looking online some.
I did call Elks yesterday as well, they are about 45min away and in the same $30 price range.

If you don’t mind a little more of a drive, Sweeten’s Cove is about an hour and 15 away. It’s one of the best 9 holers in America. You’d probably need to play during the week to get on, but it’s incredible. Great experience. You not only won’t mind playing the same loop twice, you’ll be dying to.
