Toilet bowl water level going down

Recently I replaced my toilet fill valve b/c it wasn't working great, 13 year old toilet so not surprising.
After replacing that, I'm now noticing another problem. After flushing, the tank and bowl fill up correctly. But after an hour or 2, the level in the toilet bowl has dropped. What could be causing this? I don't see how it could be related to the new fill valve. Maybe a clogged vent or something else?

definitely sounds like a vent/suction issue.

have someone else flush other toilets and watch water in bowl of problem toilet. See if it moves in motion. That would indicate a vent problem.

The flapper is old and doesn’t seat properly?

That’s my first thought, too. Change the flapper….its a cheap control experiment. If same thing occurs, you can rule out the flapper, and move on to more expensive possible remedies.

Are you saying it just fills to a lower level, or it’s slowly leaking out?

It's slowly leaking out. That's why I don't think its an issue with anything in the tank above it like the flapper or chain.

right. if the bowl is losing water then that has nothing to do with the tank. Though the leaking valve could've been masking the issue buy constantly refilling the water being lost from the bowl.
When my toilet has its annual leaking flappers (fukyou american standard and your "VORMAX" shite), my bowl water stays a bit higher than when the leak is fixed.
If the level is near about the same as before I wouldn't worry about it. Might have a bit of a wicking siphon from trash that drops the level a bit. Could also have a hairline crack in the ceramic trap loop. But that would usually be there from the factory and be noticed from day 1.

Swap out the flapper. I had to stol using bleach tablets cause they were wrecking them every 6 months

Be sure to clean the flapper seat. If the seat surface is not clean and smooth, it could still leak even with a new flapper. Make sure there is enough slack in the chain to allow the flapper to seat properly.

Just buy a new toilet and be done.
Or locate a ReStore and buy a perfectly good used one for 15 cents on the dollar.

I'm no plumber but in my experience a bowl that looses water (down the drain and not on the floor) is usually not related to the toilet itself but a clog or issue with the vent/sewer line. Does it gurgle or bubble when flushed?
