Wanting to make a few lines to take the kids out for some fun. Do I need to have my phone number, fishing license number etc on jug or noodles? Lawdf site if I’m reading correctly says yes but I don’t recall ever having to have the info on the jugs and noodles.

I think it’s a relatively new law for freshwater. If I remember correctly they were trying to mirror it after the saltwater law where everything has to be tagged. I think it’s just name and fishing license number though. I haven’t heard about the phone number

Name, license number, and phone number.
I find the cheapest and easiest way to tag a bunch of them is to buy packs of the jumbo zip ties from harbor freight. Use a sharpie to write the info. Make a loop near the noodle to attach the zip tie and cut the excess. Has worked well for me.

Name, phone number, license number and maybe address. They want you to not do this so make it so difficult. That’s alot to write on a lot of tags. Especially when your lwf njmber gets them all they need.

I like to set noodles and Googled online gear labels on commercial fishing sites didn't find any labels. Would like to hear any other suggestions.
Even perminant markers fade to quickly to have to rewrite all the info now required in LA.

Here in SC they give you these serial numbered tags, you know, like zip ties, that you tie around the jug handle.
We used to get ten a year. Now we only get one .... for trotlines.
