I bought my dad a weed puller.

We are pretty competitive about our lawns so not only will this be something that he can use (he's normally crawling around hand pulling them every morning) but it's also telling him something. "Here dad this will help you with all that crabgrass"

We have one of those, and it works good. I have a bad back, so pulling weeds is not a option, but I seem to be the only who pulls the weeds!

OP maybe a nice knife or cutting board if he cooks.

Went with a new trigger activated propane torch. I knew his last propane torch went missing and his grill igniter died. Kills two birds with one torch.

Older brother is that you?

A dirty 30 would be a pretty solid father's day gift for me

I've had one for years, it's the only way to light a Big Green Egg, in my opinion.

You can light it, lock it on, and place it thru the lower vent. It will balance perfectly with the flame on the bottom of the charcoal. 60-90 seconds later and the fire is started well.

That's what I use mine for. I agree it's great.

I didn't buy mine though. I stole it from my brother.

I guess it might not have been stealing. Was helping him move houses and he kept pissing me off by bossing me around and I said "frick you I'm taking this." He didn't say anything, so I guess he kinda gave it to me.

Got my dad a WeatherTech sunshade, something that will fit and he will actually use. Just under $100 shipped.

I have the TS8000, use it for plumbing work mostly but it also definitely works well to sear sous-vide steaks too.
