Did a lot of work with Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen. Maybe that can help swing Allen here?

I get liking a player but Griff obsession with Allen when Cavs aren’t trading him is getting kind of ridiculous. Just move on and find a realistic way to upgrade the center position.

You are taking what the Cavs say now at face value? I wouldn't. The trade talk persists for a reason: it makes sense for both teams. I think they need to lock down Mobley's extension first, but after that...

Every rumor that has linked us to Jarrett Allen back to the trade deadline. Every credible sports reporter has mentioned how we have actively tried to get Allen for months.

Yeah lets not take anyone at face value. The whole nba is not interested in Ingram. Thats such a huge bluff by every team thats interested in BI. It also doesn’t make sense for both teams. Cavs don’t want to overpay BI and Atkinson loves Jarrett Allen. After a while maybe we should start taking teams for what they say. Remember how kings were6 interested in Derozan and it was just a bluff too?

If Atkinson is a big Allen fan, then that leaves Mobley in no man's land on the verge of post-rookie max deal.
Mobley is going to have to transform his game and take a huge leap offensively to make it work. Odds are this is not going to happen.

If Atkinson loves JA that much, then we can trade for Mobley instead. I certainly wouldn't complain

Important hire for both Missi and Matkovic. Looks like we're going to roll with these guys in the rotation this season with Theis and probably another vet. Hopefully they'll improve significantly over the course of the year with both development and experience.
