Try the Indian subcontinent. And her descendant-of-slaves struggle is very real given her ancestors were the slave owners. Oh the guilt.

I can't relate. My family history shows one slave ever owned by one relative who isn't in my direct lineage, and the record is iffy even on that (perhaps he "purchased" someone out of slavery, like I'm supposed to believe most black slaveholders were doing). I guess that's what separates me from these entitled descendants of slaveholders who want me to pay for things their ancestors did.
