Don’t let them bring you to the hospital.
Empirical evidence right there.

If they only had a separate board for topics like this.

It's not a series about the First 48 In ICU for a reason.

When you get old sleeping and the bed are serious threats. If you make it to 80 you must quit getting in the bed and never ever sleep.

everyone on First 48 dies. That’s the whole point of the show

Every episode
"So, you were in the car with Big Spank & Lil Pookie..."

The premise of the show is investigating a murder. If someone goes to the hospital and lives they are ineligible for the show unless their padnuh died during the same incident.

To be fair, it's very difficult to know exactly where discussions of TV shows belong these days, especially if a show might border political or social commentary.

For some reason this reminded me of the old Bono joke - “stop clapping your hands”

seems the Tulsa ones are better than ATL

the Tulsa ones
I don't think they've done any new episodes for a couple of years. They just rehash shows from 2023 and older.
It was better when Miami, Houston, New Orleans and Dallas residents were the stars of the show.

I love the first 48 but when you watch it as much as I have you will start seeing the same trends over and over and over
For example.. whenever they interview a “suspect” - if their face is blurred out you already know that person will be left go and free

I was a firefighter for 26 years. I never had a person walk out of the hospital that we shocked or performed CPR on. I've had them get a pulse back and actually open their eyes but if they were technically dead when we arrived on scene, they never walked out of the hospital.
Now I've ran on a lot of gunshot and stab wounds, bad car wrecks, people hit by cars and such where people had a faint pulse, lost a lot of blood and were seriously messed up but make it somehow. Motorcycle wrecks were bad too, If they laid the bike down themselves, they were more than likely going to be ok, road rash was real bad and they might have had broken bones but if they hit or were hit by another vehicle at speed or they ran off the road and hit something, they were dead.
