After the highly publicized firing of lead Melissa Barrera after her comments on the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine last year, as well as the exit of her fellow co-star Jenna Ortega, it seemed like the franchise was between a rock and a hard place.
No longer.
It seems the quarrel which kept Neve Campbell out of Scream VI has been resolved and she has announced that she will be returning to the role of Sidney Prescott in the franchise's next installment.
Kevin Williamson is set to direct.

They unloaded a dump truck of money after they shite the bed hard with Melisa and Jenna. Pretty obvious they were setting up those to be the future and let Sydney retire now they’re just going to pray making up shite for Sydney to keep coming back works.
