Can't continue.

Everytime I leave the house I spend 50 bucks minimum.

They have really done a number on us this time.

I would rather make a peanut butter sandwich and eat that for lunch.

2 Big arse Bags of Doritos - 8 Dollars
1 lb Ham - 7 dollars
8oz Cheese slices - 3 dollars

Usually the store brand, the ones with the slices seperated by paper. About same quality as subway. Didn’t figure a subway customer was going for quality here.

It has gotten insane. We go to lunch after church every Sunday. Last Sunday a cheeseburger, fries and coke for 4 people was $77.

For the games this weekend… I made a chicken and andouille gumbo, shrimp and corn bisque, 30 meatball subs and crawfish queso for 130. Still got leftovers. Cooking at home is the only way. If I took out everyone who ate (6) I’d spend way over that for the same food.

I’ll add to the “prices are crazy”.

Waffle House for 4 people. $58 (this did include a 10 dollar tip).

You gotta shop at Costco and cook your own food, mate. Knock off the processed shite entirely.

You could have two prime ribeyes or 3 prime filets with a couple eggs for that price

When I was a student at LSU - late 80s/esrly 90s, I could go to the circle k on Tiger land and for $5 I could buy a dozen eggs, a loaf of bread and a gallon of milk.

I had eggs/toast, French toast, egg in a nest for 3 or days.

Not even close now.
