Incredible week 1 for Saints, but not there yet

Week 1, was definitely a success in my book. The new offensive scheme presented by Kubiak was absolutely amazing to watch. He got the ball to our playmakers, which we failed to see last year from Carmichael.
However, I am not sold on our defensive line. For pretty much the whole game we could not get into the backfield except for when they ran roll out PA passes. The most pressure we had on the QB came from a Corner. Love to see that from Alonte(what a dog, 3 sacks from a CB is unreal), but wee need to work on getting pressure from our edges and our interior line.
I will never not support Cam Jordan, but it was obvious that he lost a step due to his old age. Chase young looked good, but needs to be more efficient. Our DT's were very mid to say the least.
If we want this team to go far, we need Dennis to step up and find a way to get some pressure on the Qb with our D line.

NFL.com’s Bobby Kownack explained: “Chase Young generated a team-high six pressures -- twice as many as the next closest Saints pass rusher -- in his New Orleans debut.”
Here’s a fun one—over at Pro Football Reference, Young has never been cited for more than 25 pressures total in a season.
By NFL Next Gen’s count, he’s got six already and at least 16 games to blow past his previous career high.

Carr needs to process faster, that’s my only issue with yesterday,
He nearly missed Johnson on the TD who was wide open almost immediately and totally missed other guys open during the game.

Another was intentionally thrown low and got praise from the announcers. Don't recall the last one.

You came out of hiding for 5 years to start this thread and post about Olave being a DIVA and taking plays off when he had crucial blocks on 2 key plays (1 being a TD)?

Olave is a Diva. He might have had a couple of good blocks, but watch his demeanor on pass plays, especially when he does not get targeted. He walks around the field, and jogs his backside routes. Not what you want to see from your WR 1 and previous first round pick. Not saying that he is not a good WR, but he has some work to do.

he had 4 incompletions, 2 of them were in perfect position for TD receptions but the defenders made good plays.

Kept seeing the 4 incompletions, so had to look them up.
10:16 in 1st: Tipped pass in the endzone to Shaheed that was on the money. GREAT play by defender
4:28 in 1st: Roll out to 3 receivers on one side. Great coverage, intentional short hopped it at J Johnson
3:00 in 1st: Pass to Hill in back of endzone. Hill had to layout away from defender who was in tight coverage. Could not come down with it, would have been an amazing play had he did
2:08 in 2nd: Comeback route to Shaheed, bounced off turf through Shaheed's arms. Too low, but Shahed needs to get those
12:41 in 3rd: DPI to Shaheed. (I actually thought it was an overthrow and they were bailed out on that, but still have to give the WR a chance)

He forced the ball into EZ to Hill that was incomplete and he had Johnson wide open in the middle of the field.
He had a great game but on some plays he seems to process his reads slower and missing open guys down the field.

oh yeah that was it. To me, that is not an uncatchable ball had his path not been impeded due to his speed.

Carr threw a flat footed 55 yard rocket on a dime to Shaheed w defender and blocker in his grill.

Speak the truth, that throw was an absolute bomb.

Oh for fricks sake.
Does your book have words or just pictures?
