My Garmin watch says that a couple of times through out the night my pulse ox is dropping below 88% while sleeping. Wondering if a sleep study would be beneficial or don't worry about it.

Average throughout the night is 95% and lowest is 84%

I know my watch moves around on my wrist when I sleep because i don't strap it tight to my wrist. That might be the issue.

According to my Sleep Data I have died several times for over and hour. I show that too my wife and it freaks her out.

A sleep study wouldn’t be a bad idea

Wouldn't worry about it if only happens while sleeping.

My first thought as well. The rubber straps that come with most Apple watches moves around too much. I swapped mine out for a fabric strap with an adjustable ring on it to loosen or tighten it. Stays snug to my wrist even when sleeping.

Oxygen desaturations while sleeping is literally what sleep apnea is.

I would get a sleep study if my watch was consistently detecting oxygen desaturations during sleep. It might be a negative study but worth investigating

Get a cheap finger thing on Amazon and try to run a few tests against your watch.

My Garmin Epix 2 says it’s usually 96-97% and every time I use the finger measurer it’s 99.5+.

I find the Garmin off, I don’t look at my ox ever on it.

Not saying you should do that, just my experience.
