Hey OB,

Have they changed fittings for natural gas for dryers and that in the last ten years?

I changed a valve out with what I think was a 1/4 tubing flare built in years ago.

Now the new fittings with my new dryer I can't seem to find one that works. The old grey flexible tubing I might can reuse but I was trying to upgrade. I've tried 1/4, 5/16 and they are too small and 3/8 is too big.

I'm at the point I'm ready to cut the gas off at the road (there is no lock) and just change the valve out again. This time to something that is nit all made together in the event this happens again.

Yalls thoughts/opinions?

I found my answer.

They did discontinue what they called peanut fittings.
