Absolutely should be on the field more. He’s a nightmare matchup for the defense in spots. He’s a great kid that will give 100% every snap.

Like this a lot. With Daniels and Parker out we need a 4th WR to turn to after Lacy, Anderson and Thomas and it certainly isnt going to be Sampson at this point.

Green is like a tall WR anyways, hes not enough there in blocking to get many TE reps, but he can absolutely get some WR reps and be productive there. Sampson has been on the field 86 snaps whic season, including about a dozen vs. Ole Miss; and still doesnt have a catch. We gotta find a 4th WR we like for now with Daniels out, especially in case Lacy, Anderson or Thomas get hurt.

Kid is a match-up nightmare for LBs and safeties alike.

I'm still surprised we haven't thrown any allyoop type passes in the end zone to either Pimpton or Green.

Well, what in the frick have they been waiting on? He’s not ready to block as a TE, but he’s been ready to line up at WR since Day 1.

I said it Saturday on the scoreboard, but we couldn’t score TDs for 3 quarters (except for Green’s TD catch) and we were throwing up jump balls to Taylor, who might have a 18” vertical, and fades to 5’8” Anderson while the 6’7” basketball player just stood on the sidelines.

Our guys had a hard time getting separation (at least it seemed like it on tv) except for Lacy a handful of times), so if you can’t get separation horizontally, try vertically to the big man. And they should be able to move him around to get mismatches pretty often. I guess our lack of TE depth demands that he practices there in case Taylor were to somehow go down, but we’ve wasted a weapon up to this point. Unless he was just really raw as far route running or had problems with drops, but dude’s an athlete, so I’m not sure they couldn’t have had him running 3-4 routes really crisply. He doesn’t have to learn the whole route tree to be effective.

Regardless, I’m happy they’re doing this, and am anxious to see how they use him.

Everyone looking at it from a receiving standpoint

Overlooked is the fact he can pancake DBs when Durham and Williams get on the outside.

We heard so much about Pimpton in camp last year. Rarely saw him play.

Same thing with Pimp and Green in camp this year and again, barely see them play. 2 of our WRs Saturday were 5'10 and 5'8. We could use the size mismatches of these guys.

They’ve tried to get him going. Not sure if yall have noticed, but he gets his arse chewed every time he comes off the field by Kelly and Hankton in the games they put him out there. It seems like he doesn’t know the playbook or doesn’t give any effort.

He’s such a beast. He should’ve been playing way more,

I think he’ll have a better career than Taylor

If he wasnt a 5-star would you really care? People trying to wish him into existence around here and it just isnt happening this year. He is so lost still. He's been on the field 86 snaps this year and has seen 5 targets and has 0 catches.

It's time for someone else to get their chance, Green seems perfect for that. He is a total mismatch for any DB, he's a tall WR basically weve been trying to get TE reps because we only have 3 TEs...but he's tailormade for a tall WR role this season at this point with the injuries we have there.

He's been on the field plenty, and he's had targets. Still 0 catches.

Why? The little playing time he gets is a waste at this point and should go to someone else.

People just wishcast based on his recruiting ranking. He obviously won’t be here next year.

Green needs to be a WR his entire time here. Watch his HS tape, and watch the route he ran on Saturday night for a touchdown.

Recruit inline tight ends to fill that role and let Green abuse secondaries.
