Fella gets roughed up by poll workers for wearing "Let's Go Brandon" cap.

How does wearing a cap encouraging a fella named Brandon cause someone to be assaulted because he wanted to vote? People need to chill before someone gets hurt or maimed. Notice youtube calls it a MAGA cap. Why would they do such a thing?

Thank God I live in Alabama.
SC rules
Dude was in the wrong but so we're those hoodrats trying to keep it real so they can get on WorldStar.
SC rules

The display of campaign material is not allowed within 500 feet of the entrance to a polling place. This includes posters, pamphlets, brochures, signs, buttons, hats, and t-shirts, among other items.
That means you might be asked to remove your “MAGA” hat or cover up your “Harris-Walz” shirt before entering.

This man was definitely in the right.
He had a let`s go brandon hat on and that`s not against any rules.
The ignorant supposed poll workers didn`t like it because they knew he was likely not voting for Kacklehoe and they are racist anyway.
They should be charged with voter interference and assault.
It`ll be interesting to find out what happens, he should have called the law on them.

I'm more shocked by seeing a white guy in Orangeburg.

It was not a MAGA hat. Besides, MAGA can mean anything so how can it be a problem?

This isn't 5rh grade and "I'm not touching you" with your finger in someone's face.
You wanna go balls out at the polling place, fine. Don't act like a bitch afterwards. You got Shenquetta and her tribe assaulting you. Go from there.

I hope he pressed charges. Bitch needs to be arrested for assault.

I don’t know what state that is but many states don’t allow politicking at poll sites, and that includes slogans that are political. I work the polls in TN and we occasionally have to make someone turn a shirt inside out or cover it up.

Louisiana is the same. But someone needs to explain a "Let's go Brandon" slogan being a "politicking" action since it has nothing to do with a campaign in any way. It is literally a crowd (& somewhat media) phenomena. It isn't a campaign slogan.

MAGA can mean anything. How someone associates 4 letters should not prevent a person from voting, which is a constitutional right. Free Speech is at stake here, no doubt.

I watched that clip earlier today and it appears they edited the vid to cut out the beginning where the Dims likely hassled the dude.

I actually understand MAGA paraphernalia being banned b/c it is actual campaign branding from Trump. But "Let's Go Brandon" was a crowd-made meme from a cultural event (not political).
