May be a long shot, but here goes. We have 2 of the razor dirt quad 500 4 wheelers for our kids. They love riding them but now the batteries are getting where they don't last very long.

It is a 36 volt system, 3 12v 7AH lead acid batteries. I can replace those 3 with 9AH batteries for about 130 bucks but I would like to try to upgrade to lithium if it's not too much more.

Has anyone done this before? I see several options of either getting a single 36 volt LiFePo4 battery that is around 20AH. I could also get 3 12 volt LiFePo4 batteries in the 16ah range. I am seeing that the continuous voltage on the smaller 12v lithiums could be an issue I think it's around 16 continuous.

I'm not battery expert, just trying to not buy batteries every 2 years. Not looking to make them faster at the moment, just longer ride time.

It’s been done. Plenty of info out on the web and YouTube. I would just try to buy a set with the charger included.

I had converted my sons 24v years ago to 36v with lead batteries and it ripped lol.
