Starting back on Carnivore today

Any recipes to share? I usually do 4 eggs and a meat like bacon or sausage mid morning. Have a meat stick early afternoon and protein for supper. I made a meatza for supper. Flattened out 1lb TN pride sausage as crust. Toppings bacon, 2 eggs, pepperoni and cheese.

I did carnivore for about a month and a half leading up to the holidays. Dropped about 18 lbs. Ready to get started back. Maybe put on a couple of pounds since Christmas, but it’s more so about how much better I felt on it. I didn’t do any good recipes. Mostly soft boiled eggs, rotisserie chicken and lots of steaks. Need to find some good easy ones this round.
Did have a bad gout flare up from eating steak almost everyday though.

As a lifelong gout sufferer and carnivore since 2021, the transition to no sugars causes the latent crystals to release shortly into going strictly carnivore…it will pass and never come back if you STAY OFF sugars.
As someone who experienced gout flare ups (prior to carnivore) from venison, shrimp, and chiefly beer / whiskey, i always fell for the medical-industrial complex lie about gout needing meds to fight the purines.
Never had a gout incident since after the transition but you have to say goodbye to beer (sugars) and other inflammation causes. Good luck.

Damn. My doctor straight up told me it was because of red meat. Hopefully it won’t come back. It was by far the longest flair up I’d ever had.

They haven't attended a conference on the subject in 10+ years. Sugar is responsible, fructose specifically.

Been hardcore on it for several years. Grill a ribeye and be done with it. Eggs, bacon, seafood, chicken… if you want variety. Salt as much as you like. Don’t get hung up on recipes or things that try to turn the food in to something else. Avoid dairy.

I'm on low carb, usually less than 20 grams a day but I am flexible with it. I probably eat carnivore a couple of days a week, and eat more carbs on the other days. I did it successfully years ago but broke discipline, got very far behind, then life happened. I have hypothyroidism. I didn't find out about it until around 2015 or so, I may have had it all my life. It runs in families, and of my four siblings, only one doesn't have it.
I have lingering pain and discomfort from back surgery 25 years ago. I don't take any drugs for it, I can deal with the pain and can usually stretch out of it, but it's a big part of why I retired early. Driving for hours to see customers and crawling around factories with steel toed shoes just kept me in constant pain. It was bearable, but kind of keeps you miserable.
However, when I started on low carb again last May, I immediately noticed a lot less pain and discomfort. I felt tremendously better, and it has continued to improve. I just wanted to throw this in if it might be of help to someone.
