Is this pot’s maximum temp really 350?

LINK
Looking to get my dad a large oval roaster like the one in the link. I noticed that in the specs it says the max temp is 350F. It says it’s cast aluminum.
I know when I sear stuff on the stove it’s definitely hotter than 350. Is this type of pot only for limited, light duty work? No oven roasting past 350?

Aluminum's melting point is +1000°F. Probably some foreign company that didn't translate the specs properly.

I feel like I’ve seen Imusa around for a really long time.

It's a familiar name, but the 350°F maximum temperature makes me question the author's understanding of metallurgy.

It's a Columbian company. Likely should be 350 C not F

Where are seeing that?
I thought only the US, Liberia, and Myanmar use imperial.

Do Vietnam, Bangladesh, Indonesia, India, and China use Imperial?

I was just pointing out that you misspelled Colombia with a really bad joke.
Now I just feel bad for derailing this thread

You missed my joke after I got yours.
Columbia makes their products in Vietnam, Bangladesh, Indonesia, India, and China

I have one of those Imusa roasters. You’re not going to to damage it in a standard oven

I have the same roaster. The 350F is a copy paste error from another of their pots with the black plastic knob handle.

So no issues? You use it for the staples on the stove and high heat in oven/searing?

None. It’s made of metal

That’s usually the reason when you see a low temp limit, such as Le Creuset. I have a metal replacement knob that can handle 500+ for no knead bread.
