Did DOGE really cut this or is there more to it?

Doge cannot directly cut anything, eh? They advise.

Anyway, if the alternative research has some teeth and things like Ivermectin, FenBen, Berberine, Vitamin C and other cheaper and/or naturally occurring substances can POTENTIALLY inhibit the growth and maybe even kill certain cancer cells, why keep spending Billions on research to only continue to Mostly treat cancer?

I do not know but I want to know, if there are alternatives to poisoning ourselves to cure ourselves?

Two questions and no opinion?

Great job on a significant post.

Would absolutely not read again.

Stop it bro. Know the facts. Cutting the fat does not mean cutting research. Cmon Man.

Since you obviously know the facts, please clarify the “fat” of cancer research.

DOGE can’t cut anything. I suspect that they found an assload of money earmarked for “cancer research” without any evidence of actual research attached to it.

Cancer research is cash cow for Big Pharma and Research Organizations. Float some nonsensical hypothesis and reap the rewards in research grants. A cancer cure simply does not compute with Wall Street and Big Academia.

Who fakes cancer research? Apparently, lots of people. Faked cancer data is the latest sign of science’s fraud problem.

I know it’s hard for you sheltered people to understand, but most people are actually giant pieces of shite.

It’s also troubling that the fakery was so blatant. We’re not talking about sophisticated data manipulation here — we are talking about cases where scientists badly photoshopped pictures of their experimental results.

There is another common thread between the Gino fiasco and the Dana-Farber one: Harvard University. Between Gino’s case, the resignation of Harvard president Claudine Gay, and now the alleged faked cancer research, Harvard’s reputation for academic excellence has undoubtedly taken a battering.

That would be the DEI consultants, for example.

Show me where research is being cut? It’s not! If staff is being cut because of over staffing then so be it.

I’m asking the question because it’s been a narrative. Based on your condescending comment, sounds like you don’t know either.

It's only a symbolic gesture anyway. $500+ billion has been spent on cancer research since 1971 when Nixon said we would cure cancer. The death rate has hardly budged. Practically no difference if money had never been given. Big Pharma doesn't really want a cure.
