and the B12 ..its not like that's my conference,,
But obviously, most of my friends locally
are big 12 schools until very recently
so I paid attention to friends teams
I used to play Thanksgiving Day football into my 50s with a Jayhawk placekicker

For me, especially nowadays with conference expansion, I don't think too much about the conferences at all.
With my main team in the Big 10, I don't really even consider Oregon, USC, UCLA, and Washington to be a part of the conference. Just as, I'm sure as a Kansas fan, you don't really consider UCF, Arizona, Arizona State, and Cincinnati as part of the conference.
I'm not going to all of a sudden start rooting on USC because of ridiculous conference expansion that is ruining the sport.
