Would you rather overdraft a guy because you have a need at that position, or
Pick a potential stud at a position you have a guy/guys, but they aren't game changers?

BPA for every position except QB
QB will never be BPA except at picks 1-2, so to me you have to treat the position differently.

The Saints can use any position on the field. Take BPA with every selection. In a perfect world they can make moves to increase the number of picks…but you cannot force that either.
Talented rosters need to be more selective when they will lose a player to free agency or to salary caps. The Saints are not that team.

Dont'e Thornton Jr... I like this WR tall and fast and decent hands.. Saints could get him in the fourth.. but he could be gone by then..

Best player. Get young good players that are as close to sure thing as you can predict and roll with them next year where you take a QB

I would like to trade back if possible and get an extra 2nd round pick. Seems unlikely but you never know. After that you draft BPA focusing on DL/OL.
