Draft capital and landing spot make it tough….

I’ll assume ppr.
I’d say Harvey bc Denver has really nothing at rb and we all love Sean Peyton RBs.
Kaleb was the higher rated rb but went a round lower and not to an as good spot.
Kaleb’s receiving skills are unknown/lacking and Pitt has a great 3rd down receiving back in Warren.
Again I’d say Harvey.

I know a lot of people will say Harvey but I still like Kaleb more. First, Harvey is already 24. Second, he has had major ball security issues. That can be corrected but we'll see. I just think he was really over drafted by the Broncos.
Now Kaleb really hasn't shown his receiving ability but what I did see watching film on him is he's not awkward catching the ball. Looks pretty natural; not fighting the ball. Good situation to the Steelers. He ended up in a zone blocking scheme which he desperately needed. Warren is a good receiver but not an every down back imo. I see a 65/35, 70/30 split. I'm taking Johnson everytime with this scenario.

The only people putting Kaleb first are those who are stuck on their pre draft rankings. Harvey has better draft capital, better landing spot. It’s the new Mel Kiper question, are we better evaluators of talent than the NFL? I think not. Harvey gets my vote

If we are talking draft capital, the Texans traded a third rounder next year to move up to get Woody Marks, that’s got to boost him past someone like Devin Neal who was just a regular ole 6th round pick

Does a 4th round pick have a better chance at becoming a potential fantasy value than a 6th round pick? Yes

In my ongoing rookie draft, Harvey went 6th and was the 4th rb ahead of even Judkins. I got judkins at 1.07.

I’d be happy with that

The time has come. I’m picking between Harvey and Johnson. What to do?

Win now: Harvey
Building for future: Johnson

Yet every rookie ranking and draft I’ve done has Neal going earlier, I guess because people remember watching him at Kansas.

It has more to do with situation and a clearer potential path to playing time.

RB1 in Houston after Mixon is done is there for the taking
Posted on 5/31/25 at 7:55 am to TheWalrus
Correct. But mixon is two years younger than Kamara. Plus Dameon pierce is a bigger threat than kendre miller is.

Washed JAG. They brought Pierce in bc he sucked. Even Devin Singletary overtook Pierce

Ended up getting both Harvey and Johnson through some trading. Then got Skattabo as well. Needed RB help. Only had Conner, Benson, Dobbins, R White. Wrs in good shape: Ceedee, Nico, MJH, D Smith, Downs, Pearsall, Ridley

Man I was all in on Woody Marks this summer and it seems to have paid off.
Lol at whoever drafted Harvey ahead of Judkins
