Whether right or wrong, a lefty quarterback is almost never going to look as smooth but Nussmeier throws an incredible fastball that looks like it could travel in the air forever. The four-star from Flower Mound (Texas) Marcus can put touch on it when needed but Nussmeier is best zipping it around the field and he has arm talent for days as LSU and others keep battling.

The defensive line group was absolutely loaded and it was a shame that we could only hand out two MVP awards there because Geralds was outstanding on the inside. What we loved most about Geralds is that he played with so much energy and never backed down to anybody, winning a ton of reps using speed and power to his advantage. Ohio State, LSU, Ole Miss and others are heavily involved.

On3 showing Florida leading currently...

4-star QB Colton Nussmeier (2027)

Four schools have emerged for Flower Mound (Texas) Marcus four-star quarterback Colton Nussmeier.

“I went to LSU, Georgia, Bama and Florida this summer for camps. I like the big schools, I like the SEC, I like winning programs. I like all the coaches at all those schools. I like all those programs and how they run their things.”

Nussmeier said he’ll end up at home games for each program.

“I like them all,” Nussmeier said. “Will be a hard decision for me.”

I get the sense that young Nuss doesn’t revere Louisiana and LSU like his older brother. Maybe he hasn’t spent as much time here growing up as Garrett did, but he seems more open to other schools than most people thought.

Trouble is LSU has about 4-5 choices at QB for 2027 kids. Now, I would love little Nuss plus another guy, but seems like we won't get more than one. He loves the Tigers, but has many options if LSU moves on to Elijah

I think that he's not trying to show his hand too much in case LSU gets Haven and Nuss has to go elsewhere.

Based on what I'm seeing and trying to read the leaves, Geralds may be leaning OSU and Ruffin LSU and that may be how they split

I admit I know nothing about Lil Nuss' academics, but what are the chances he could re-classify?

We've all been touting that for months now, but doesn't seem to be any traction by anyone to reclassify

Now i have no idea anymore again. Stuff changes so fast.

OSU insiders are saying Geralds may not be a take which is confusing to me in almost every way possible. He has been pursued for over 2 years, is a top 50 type player at a position of need, but is a bit on the smaller side admittedlly.

I would hope you take him and figure it out (maybe he doesn't need to be 300 lbs to disrupt int he middle), but OSU seems to have maybe told him no (again I find it incredibly not good for a staff that I usually trust a lot)

Edit: Oh and Ruffin said he is no longer committing 7/4

Buckeye06, where are you from? I grew up 60 miles North of Columbus. BTW, I appreciate your contributions to the threads

I think I would be annoyed if I was 6'3" and being referred to as lil Nuss by guys I'm probably half a foot taller than.
