Trenton Henderson in a pure NIL recruitment and not a mention? Huge development imo. I don't always agree with the decisions of our staff in regards to approach but I love the decision to leverage $ when they want to.
Short list of high end edge guys in the class and the big boys are playing moneyball spreading them around. Ironically UF, who we leveraged here, started the run when they paid up for the McCoy kid. Roster allocation at work. Class coming together well.

LSU football is closing in on a five-star recruit. According to a report from On3/Rivals, LSU is the favorite for the services of EDGE Trenton Henderson, a native of Pensacola, Florida.
The report states LSU's biggest competition is Florida and Texas. Henderson took official visits to all three schools this Summer.
247Sports labels Henderson a five-star, slotting him as the No. 4-ranked EDGE in the country. He's 247's No. 28 overall recruit. The On3 Industry Rankings slot Henderson No. 59 overall and No. 11 at his position. The Tigers have yet to add a pass rusher to the 2026 group, meaning Henderson would fill a key need.
"Sprouting linebacker that can get after the quarterback as he comes screaming around the corner. Size has not been third-party verified, but is believed to be over 6-foot-4 and tipping the scales right around 225 pounds. Took a major step forward between sophomore and junior seasons – evoking much more confidence and physicality," wrote 247Sports' Director of Scouting Andrew Irvins.
