Has anyone here ever met Mike Johnson before he got into politics?

He's pretty young, and being from Shreveport and LSU alum, someone here had to have gone to high school/college with him.

Someone I know went to school with him and said he was one of the smartest and most genuine guys she has ever met.

I was his counselor when he went to Boy’s State if that counts. He won the outstanding citizen that year out of 700+ attendees and was elected Governor. Kid had it and I knew he was someone that would do big things. There was a presence about him.

I went to church with him at Parkview and he and his wife came to our Sunday School class my wife and I taught. Very nice people, but haven’t talked to him since probably 2005.

I know some people, including cousins, that go/went to church with him. I've never heard a bad word about him from people who actually know him.

Yes. He lives close by. His youngest is close in age to my son and they run around the neighborhood with the same group from time to time. Politics aside, I like Mike.
