But answer me this: what good is our involvement doing over there? Why should we continue to fund defense lines that will soon be broken?

This has been said for years, just like Putin is on his deathbed.

Little Z has one option. Give up land or parish. Everyone has to give up something in a negotiation. The song has been sung.

You can and likely do take the position that the US should not be involved, but our funding has limited Putin from gaining control of approximately 80% of UKR after years of fighting. That’s far from nothing.

Which parishes do you think he should give up? Or, do you call them counties?

Was it worth it? Nothing to show for it.

If the Euros weren't such pussies they could have handled this.

Zelensky and his oligarchs are rich beyond imagination, they have allowed/forced 400k+ of their countrymen to be killed.

We will never get that money back, nor the unknown amount laundered through USAID.

Does anyone here actually advocate for this?

They are SO hoping for no peace deal, continued war, and a coveted Trump “L” today… which, no matter how things workout today, they’ll still claim it was an “L.” Like always. F@gs.

He’s going to get 80% anyway if Z continues this.

Your ideas are counter to Trump who now is looking at article 5 type security for the uke after they sign a peace deal.

The reality is, Clinton started this, Obama carried the torch and Biden put a flame to any peace deals.

At this point the Commie Dems are left with wanting war over peace. Let's not let the reactionary populist right spoilt it.

“He’s going to get 80% anyway if Z continues this.”

Does this assume the West abandons UKR to Putin’s tender mercies? Otherwise, I see no reason why UKR and its western backers can’t stalemate the invading Russians without US troops.

It's a good question and probably has a complicated answer.

But I'd ask why Putin has sent a million of his own people to slaughter. Why? For what?
