Planning on heading to the show in November for the first time.

Awesome! You will be able to use the "gun show loophole" to buy rocket launchers and nuclear bombs!
I haven’t been to the one in Tulsa, but based on the other gun shows I’ve been to over the past 10 years, it’s been tough to find real deals. You might come across some older or hard-to-find stuff if that’s what you’re into, but a lot of vendors now travel the show circuit and also sell online—so their prices are usually close to retail. You’ll also see local gun shops with booths, and those are typically retail prices too.
If you’re going with something specific in mind, make sure you know what a fair price is in your area or what it would cost to have it shipped to an FFL. If they can beat that, great—otherwise, stick to a budget and don’t overspend.
Oh, and there’s almost always someone selling candy or snacks. Grab a free sample while you’re walking around,

This one isn't that.
It's massive. I've not been but my FIL has a few times. It's the largest in the country and there is a reason for that. Dealers, individuals, manufacturers, etc come from all over the country.
It's 11 acres filled.

My FIL left a gun in his truck. Had to go back and get it and had a hard time finding the guy again that he was talking to about a trade.

When I was first getting into collecting WWII guns, we went to a gun show at the Dallas Market Hall. We realized at some point that we would never get to all the tables at the rate we were going. We started skipping the tables that had just new guns, and still barely made it through.
They say that show is nothing compared to Wanenmacher’s in Tulsa, so Tulsa must be enormous.
When we were in the Dallas show, an old gent walked by and I noticed his name tag: Joe Wanenmacher. It was like seeing Elvis.
