Any of you Baws heard or dealt with this outfit? Received an unsolicited text wed inquiring about buying our farm. It could just be coincidence but there’s only 2 outside of my family that even know it’s forsale.
Most of there info they have is public and my # is fairly easy to find online.
Guy was blowing my phone up yesterday and nothing today.

Cold calling. People call land owners or send letters wanting to buy your land. Their goal is to find someone in a tight spot that needs money. They buy it dirt cheap and then re sell it. I get these calls, texts, letters all the time. They get your info from tax records I believe.

I just ignore them.

seller beware.

Our office has dealt with lots of these "mass buyers" and I don't think we've every had one close. Shady contracts and string you along until closing date only to try to renegotiate for a lower price or back out all together.

He said he was a Redneck Prince with $20 mill US he needed to get out of Ashley county Arkansas.
I have actually talked to the Mormons in Provo, waiting to hear back from them.

Tell one and they tell one and on and on. Loose lips sink ship.

I get texts and emails almost weekly on a piece of ground I own. Most believe it's still undeveloped.

Corn $3.55/bu but it cut 232bu/ac
Conservative investment will pay 8%, 1/5 share >2%, what would you do?
95% of the 2025 corn crop hasn’t been sold, bets on price when it get marketed in December or January?

I get calls and letter at least once a week from these people.

Offering me 500 per acre. It’s worth more than 10x that.

For sale and no one knows? Doesn’t seem like a great strategy.

Spam calls are a constant part of owning land in the Deep South.

I get at least 1 of these monthly for several different tracts I own.

My parents never got one but after putting everything in my name 2 years ago and me paying the taxes last year they send them like car warranty calls.

I’m assuming that since I’ve recently had my name put on the deeds they think I might be willing to sell. I’ve got news for them I’m looking to buy more

They usually offer me between $2400-2600 an acre.

Makes me wonder if they know something is upcoming with possible mineral leasing.

Recently got the rights back from a lease my grandmother did back in 1980’s.

Maybe some new player is coming in to start leasing
