Curious if anyone else on here has conflicting thoughts about religion/support of Trump.

I went to Saturday Mass for the first time in a long time, the Priest in so many words said, you can't be a good Catholic and support Trump, I was wondering if any of you have have come to the same crossroads, if so how did you personally handle it?

Priest is upset that their money for helping bringing in millions of illegals is drying up. I can't really say anything about the priest talking politics because if he was saying something that I liked I wouldn't have a problem with it. I have walked out in the middle of Mass before when a visiting priest started saying Jesus would want us to believe in Global Warming, though.

The only reason I went was because of the new Pope, I'm not entirely sure what I was expecting, but the Catholic church is obviously very left

Are the Ten Commandments central to Catholicism? If so, then how can they even support the existence of government itself?
I don't know shite about the doctrines of Catholicism, but "Thou shalt not steal" and "Though shalt not covet" seem pretty frigging clear, and the entire existence of government itself is against some of God's rules.

On an artificial level it's less complicated than that, I'm avoiding getting into a philosophical discussion because I'd like to hear from a fellow Catholic as to how one reconciles.

That priest is a phony. All of our leaders not just trump have done things that are sins. Expecting perfection is inhuman

Which of their satanic, demonic policies should we Christians have liked? The spreading of filthy homosexuality? The mutiliation of young children? The placing of filthy homosexual pornography in school libraries? The debanking of Christians?
