I have a BTJ dilemma

10 team, 0.5PPR keeper league. 2 WR/ 2 FLEX setup. I took BTJ with my first round pick this season and obviously, he has massively underperformed. A-RSB is my clear cut #1 WR so no worries there. BEsides BTJ I have devonta smith, courtland sutton, and keenan allen. Every week I've plugged in BTJ becuase the numbers and logic and projections all point to it, but I'm at the point now where I'm inclined to bench him for keenan allen. Is that an overreaction? Each week Keenan continues to put up steady as hell numbers while BTJ does basically nothing. Am I right to pull the trigger on a benching at this point?

I'm in a worse spot. I have Jettas, BTJ and Chase Brown.

I mean benching him until he has a decent game seems like a reasonable thing to do. Don’t get too attached to draft equity.

No dilemma at all. You have the depth to bench him until he and Lawrence get their heads out of their collective asses.
Keenan Allen should be started in all formats until he gives us a reason not to.

man this is good advice. Way too often I feel attached to a player just bc of where I drafted him. I need to remember this.

Traded him after his week 2 dud. Was sick of tying my FF happiness to the Jags offense for the 2nd year in a row.

Yes. Wish I had the stones, but I just can't bring myself to bench my second round pick yet and I don't have a slam dunk option on the bench. My depth pieces at flex were Aaron Jones and Jayden Reed. Ladd joining him in the sophomore slump is compounding my issue

It's a very common thing. My main league that I've been in for 15 years rarely ever has trades because of this. So many times I've offered overly lopsided trades in their favor just to do it and they still decline. If you ain't tradin, you ain't tryin.
