This has come up after the weekend's events. Apparently some people that move to Baton Rouge to attend BRCC and experience LSU campus life are members of the Divine Nine chapters at LSU.
Did not realize this was a thing.

The Divine Nine is the nickname of a group of nine historically Black Greek-letter organizations called the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC). These nine organizations have a significant place in Black American history and culture. Collectively, these organizations comprise nearly 4 million members.
