That was regarding making a decision. He never said he was going to announce anything.

He said he had to make a decision today. An announcement was never promised by the ones that matter.

No it wasn’t. He was directly asked if he would make a decision by today.. he said “I think I have to”. Nobody said anything about an announcement. People just assumed/interpreted incorrectly.
