He cut a deal with Michigan and quit so they wouldn’t have to pay his buyout.

Was the Michigan job even open when he resigned at Utah?

If you’re going the bridge coach route this is the move.

Hiring a 66 year old who has flirted with retiring for a long time and has only ever coached in Utah and Idaho is definitely risky, but the best option of the coaches out there at the moment by a good amount.

Everyday they're after a different person. Either they're in a really tough spot or they're about to shock the world and swipe Deboer from bama. I didn't think it was possible, but the fact that bama and Deboer haven't come together on an extension makes me think that one of the sides isn't serious about getting it done.

He quit because of Utah’s private equity deal.

Guess which school is leading the charge against private equity in college football?

Right. Plus if he cared, he would have been here bc he supposedly trusted the coaches and “relationships”.

He got that bag and said frick yall. He don’t care lol.

Whittingham is a good coach, but I bet Bryce Underwood is not thrilled.
