Any suggestions on where to order a LA king cake and get it shipped to TX?

Randazzos or Haydels. (with STRONG preference with Randazzos)

another vote for Randazzos or Haydel's, although the past couple of years I've gone with Randazzo's because they give you the option online to take off that stupid mardi gras pack that adds like $5 to the cost.

This year I'm not having one shipped. I bought one at Kroger here that, while not as wonderful as Randazzo's, was pretty dang good and only set me back $6 compared with $35ish for a small king cake from Randazzo's.

Bad site to buy a king cake from.

Buy from either Ambrosia or Randazzos.

Ambrosia actually ships their King Cakes year round.

I don't like bakeries getting too creative when it comes to King Cakes, but Ambrosia's Zulu King Cake is just ridiculously good. Filled with chocolate chips and cream cheese, and topped with chocolate sauce and coconut.

No, they stop the last Thursday before mardi gras. Or at least they used to.

They ship UPS overnight.

Just ordered mine today

It's definitely crack.

The last time I had some of their Zulu King Cake, it was so good that I went to sleep and was literally dreaming that I was heating up a slice in the microwave

I can't wait for my king cake to arrive!! My mom ordered one from this small bakery in Morgan City (no website) and I am stoked! I got one last year from there and it was really good!!

Randazzo's is definitely a great choice!!! I may get one from there to share at the office! I did it 2 years ago and people loved it!!

I'd take you up on that, but I live in League City. Cypress might as well be Dallas, its so fu**ing far away. Thanks for the offer though. I think i'm gonna go ambrosia. Thanks for all the suggestions guys.

My husband and I were jumping for joy when we found a king cake at Kroger here in N.Atlanta. It was about just as good as any grocery store king cake back in Louisiana..still not a Randazzo's though.

I gave in and ordered a Randazzo's even after buying one at Kroger, posting about it here, and being so proud I spent $6 instead of $35. I couldn't stop myself.
