Which kind, the professional, max?

My max is arriving tomorrow.

Follow JM Hirsch on IG he's done some drinks in it but he has the max. It analyzes what you put into it and lets you know if you need to add any water or sugar

I got the smaller one, having trouble with it and can't get it to freeze. I used a slushie mix with champagne that should have worked.
We are going to have to return it or exchange it. Do you think the max is worth the extra cost?

You have to really dilute alcoholic beverages to freeze properly, or add a lot of sugar

Do you have to do that with the Max?

Which is probably why the lime-a-rita drink freezes well due to sugar content.

My tip is it's a lot more water than you expect. There's a brix calculator to understand it.

Non-diluted coke (full sugar) will freeze as is.

Below is my margarita that works great for the standard size.

I think you may have it wrong. Adding sugar (or alcohol) makes it harder to freeze.

There’s a reason why daiquiri places offer “floaters.” You can only make daiquiris so strong before they won’t freeeze (around 15-16%). Add whatever alcohol you want on top to make them stronger

I’ve got a slushi and love it

I think the new Max version will freeze out to 20% ABV
