involved in any social programs. All social programs should be administered at the state level and each state will succeed or fail on their own state policies.

The less money the federal government has the better for the citizenry of the US.

I would really like to understand how the US Constitution permits the Federal Government to spend our tax dollars on child care and feeding the children at the govt funded child care facilities.

Don't get me wrong this is ratchet shite.

But there's BILLIONS of other things I could do away with first. This is them tugging at heart strings to make the blatancy of it all hide under the radar.

And they talk shite about LSU with the children's hospital? That was child's play.

Watch out. Your inner Rand Paul/Thomas Massie streak is beginning to show. Can't have that.

Rational thought and common sense is a common trait amongst those who despise and oppose Democratic Socialism.

True, but if the government creates these largess programs, then they should also be able to monitor and prevent fraud. Where are the controls? Imagine any Fortune 500 company that has daycare on site for employees. There will be no fraudulent use going on!

The idea that anyone will argue this point shows the insanity of the free loaders.

The General Welfare Clause (Article I, Section 8, Clause 1) grants Congress power to "lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imports and Excises, to pay Debts, and provide for the common Defense and General Welfare of the United States,"

This is pretty much the way it was when I was growing up. We had charity hospitals that took care of indigent people with no other avenue to proper care. But since they were working on limited budgets, they made sure their efforts were not diluted by freeloaders.

As for healthy people who had just 'fallen on bad luck' they found compassion and generosity from private sources, primarily churches.

Most times, someone in true need were taken care of by neighbors, friends, or family.

This is the way decent societies function - and the only way they can remain solvent.

The moment you give the central government the task of 'taking care of everyone' that criteria of evaluating 'true need' evaporates. There are no written rules that can be trusted to avoid fakers from gaining access to the funds meant for the poor and needy. You have to maintain a direct connection between the person providing the $$$ with those receiving the $$$.

It is hard to keep your neighbor providing $$$ for your upkeep when you sleep all day and party all night.

Make welfare local - and voluntary - the American culture (if it has not already been slaughtered by the moochers) will not allow one's neighbor to starve.

OH - and the most damning problem with this top-down welfare system is the COLLABARATION between corrupt official and corrupt moochers. The taxpayer has no protection from that alliance. And that is what we have now - and that is a primary source for all the "donations" given to the democrat party.

I would not be surprised that Soros doesn't actually MAKE MONEY from all his 'contributions' that enable these corrupt democrats to be elected. I would bet that there is a feedback path for that money to makes it way back to his bank account = with profit.

Fricking Pinkos, and their Democrat minions ruin everything. Helped by their ability to manipulate the rino greed.

Just like immigrants use to have to be sponsored, and able to support themselves without govt assistance. Blood tests, etc etc.

But that clause says that we can use tax dollars to do anything. It's so broad as to have no meaning at all.
