The only guarantee in the first round is a high price tag hence why I didnt agree with tanking. I want this team to keep winning, gain confidence, and look attractive to FAs

A great offensive line is the key to everything on offense. Having time to throw the ball and having a run game at the same time is a completely different level. It's literally a game changer. And then the run game and pass game feed off of each other. You go from an inept offense to a dominant offense

Add to that mix a QB in Shough who raises the play of others around him and the Saints are set for a decade.

Fine with that as long as the draft pick is 3rd or later. Team needs juice. You can fine average or above average guards in FA and later in the draft.
