Damn, is that his skill level currently? Was Hankton that damn bad at evaluating and coaching?

Hankton’s problem was, he was always a bridesmaid but never a bride. He couldn’t land any of the big name WR’s he was after and did not have his unit playing well at LSU or Georgia. Nabers and Thomas are outliers and would have excelled under anyone.

Going from a team that fired their coach and benched their qb halfway thru the season for a team that made the playoffs might not be as big of a drop off as it may seem.

Apparently it wasn’t Hankton but rather LSU. Hankton was an elite coach and recruiter. Not sure I get the logic but it’s I read here

JMU was just in the playoffs but what options would you expect for this kid? He has 0 legit game tape, wasn't heavily recruited by many schools and JMU headcoach (Billy Napier) was 1 of the staffs that previously had interest in him

But he’s going to Sunbelt Billy’s JMU, which isn’t the same team

Seems like some of these guys are going to a junior college for PT & once they have tape, they try & move back to a P4 team.

JMUs NIL is one of the best in non power 4 groups. Plus Sunbelt Billy is back. JMU will be consistently ranked in the top 25

He has nominal film out there. He’d be lucky to get JMU tbh
