No way. WR1 makes plays when you need them. He didn't. Concussion issues and now blood clots. Draft a WR and sign a vet. Time to move on.

There’s no way we pay him in the off season with the blood clot issue unless he agrees to a super team friendly deal. It’s just too risky.
Most likely we just let it play out next season and see where we stand next off season

Sure get rid of the guy that clearly has chemistry with shough, actually wants to be here(not just about the money) showed to be a great teammate (he was gonna play hurt just to help shough with Roy) and will prob not get a top contract that resets the market. We can and should. And we will sign him up long term. Idiot. Who would you want instead?

$25 million per would put him in company with DeVonta Smith, Nico Collins, and Deebo Samuel. And their age and production is closely aligned with his. I think $25 million is just about right, honestly.

Olave will want and demand his money. Loomis will have to be shrewd here in his dealings

Well he’s under contract for another year, I believe it’s a fully guaranteed $15.5M. So the need to pay him a big contract is pushed off at least a year.
And if the draft/sign his replacement; they can trade him midseason

I agree to have caution. But this ain't Chris Bosh. It's his first ever clot and they caught it early. But yea, let's move on from him.
Current Status: Olave has been discharged from the hospital and is doing well, but will miss the New Orleans Saints' final game of the season against the Falcons.
Recovery Timeline: He is expected to be sidelined for about a month before being ready for the offseason program, which typically begins in April.
Long-Term Outlook: The issue was detected early, and all indications are that the long-term outlook is positive with no prior history of blood clots.
Season Summary: Olave finished his 2025 season with career highs in receptions (100), receiving yards (1,163), and touchdowns (nine) across 16 games played.

The only vet worth signing is Jennings from SF and he will be considerably more expensive.
I dont know, after watching how much worse it could be i can live with Olave. He aint perfect but I wouldnt be mad extending him.

Alec Pierce would be awesome with Shough. With that being said, Chris Olave already is awesome with Shough.

I keep forgetting about him. But much like Jennings, I dont think he goes anywhere.

You must be a liberal sky screamer by your response to me. Anyway, my opinion is not to give him the money bc it's risky. Other posters disagree with me, but they shared their thoughts and didn't tell me to "shut up". I hope you're not that way with your g/f or parents.

Definitely has chemistry with Shough, you have no clue if he wants to be here (unless you spoke to him personally), and yeah, probably is a good teammate. But Shough can find all that with another WR and/or teammate. Olave has definitely had his moments, but he could be damaged goods right now. Time will tell.
