If Johnson had it, don’t you think he would have beaten out MVB??

No way to tell considering who our oc was last year and bk just thinking about retirement- I don’t he got a fair shot to be honest with you - I think we were all in on nuss and nothing else mattered!

Remember when we were all excited that MVB gave us depth behind Nuss?

This board has some serious disrespect for Leavitt. He's the highest coveted QB alongside Sorsby for a reason. Is he perfect? No. There's concern with injury as well. The things Leavitt does well though make him look like he has lots of NFL potential. The things he does is perfect in a Kiffin system as well especially how he can hone rough edges. Here's a stat that's really attractive for a QB: Leavitt is one of the highest graded QBs under pressure in the country. He's 8th I believe.

His worst graded PFF game was against Texas Tech playing on a hampered injury and he still handed TT their only loss on the season outside the playoff game. His line straight got mauled by that TT line and while he wasn't his best at times he made some big plays to win all throughout. Against Texas last year in the playoffs it was down to the wire ASU should've won. Leavitt had an outstanding WR this year at ASU but he wasn't exactly surrounded with tons of talent. What would he do with more?

ASU doesn't have much in NIL backing so it's easy to see why he wanted to go somewhere with talent like LSU.

I definitely think we should resign MVB just to be safe.
