Picked up a couple boards of pecky that look weathered. Keeping some of them weathered but I’m wanting to lighten some up to stain them. What do I need to do?

Yes
I was told you can use a mixture of vinegar and bleach to lighten it up

oxalic acid is the way. Buy on Amazon and google directions. Just a hose. Do not pressure wash.

I also prefer to sand it, but care should be taken. A pad sander may be a safer option.
