Was fully onboard running it back with a men’s bball coach who is famous for having one player, Ja morant, who is mid at best. Matt McMahon couldn’t even coach a high school team.

Can LSU basketball be saved? There was never a time in my life they were consistently decent. The Shaq years and the Thomas/Davis final four run were fun, but still didn’t achieve much. Needs a total makeover to change the culture of the program.

All rantards will scream and holler but forget the massive shite show that was happening when he was hired. I’m not a Mc whatever supporter and blasted Woodward for releasing Wade but acknowledge there were extenuating circumstances considering all the shite from Wade and the football program.

It’s hard to imagine how bad gat Scott fricked up the golden age of LSU athletics.
Football: monster O contract and then forced a monster contract to Bo. Then forced hire of Brad Davis. Then he goes and gets an over the hill guy that can’t win it all because he needed a splash hire and wasn’t going to take mean Lane Kiffin. Proceeds to give the over the hill coach a massive contract.
Basketball: inherits will wade and hands him over and self inflicts a death penalty on our program like this was the ncaa of the 80s and 90s when it’s actually lost every court case in the last 6 years. Then follows that up by bungling announcing it to the team causing everyone to leave in the portal. Then hires a McLoser to a dumb contract.
Then we have him over paying for womens basketball coach while our men’s team that actually can make money is stuck in a pit.
His only true good hire was despite himself, he was third because fat boy Scott wanted a washed Oregon state coach or Sully.
But hey we won a title in WBB and gymnastics never mind the flaming dumpster fire he caused in the biggest two money makers.

Verge wasn't AD when basketball was underway. You don't fire a coach after Game 1 even though he should have been fired two seasons ago.
