It seems like teams tamper with G5 kids all the time and nobody cares.
If a kid goes into the portal with a "do not contact" status he's been tampered with.

Does anyone know why he is looking to leave Washington? Other than money and to come to LSU of course. Just wondering if there is an underlying assumption to why since he followed the coach there from Arizona

Is it tampering to talk to agents?!? Who knows. Agents represent a ton of players.
This is just the nature of the sport. It’s pro-college football. Until there is some sort of CBA among conferences and players and the NCAA and so-and-so! See it’s too complicated to fix this mess. College sports is doomed! Is there still academic requirements any more. Are coaches judged on their graduation rate.

As I understand it, tampering occurs only if they speak directly to the player. If they speak with his agent, it is not.
I guess you could say the NCAA opened this door by allowing these guys to have agents.
