What I’m hearing about Demond Williams

Apparently Lane and company have had eyes on Demond for awhile, but then when he re signed with Washington the focus shifted to Sorsby, Leavitt, and possibly Chambliss.
As I’ve stated the staff really liked Sorsby, but, and a very big but here they weren’t going all out financially. It already leaked what Lane and company offered him. Now you see what we are offering Demond. Pretty big difference there.
What really sparked this is Sorsby’s back out. I’m told he gave a commitment to LSU while on his visit and backed out of that once TTU came in calling with an upped offer.
This ticked everyone off and thus Demond is circled back too, with Lane getting the big money people organized and such. This time the money we are willing to spend will be all out for him.
In regards to Leavitt, he really likes LSU, but I keep hearing that some things off the field whether that’s with the brother or character issues (insert Bo Callahan here) and obviously health make it hard for LSU to fully commit to HIS asking price. Still doesn’t mean they don’t want Leavitt or told him no, but it’s pretty obvious he’s the fall back option.

Sorsby had so much smoke. It really seemed to be all about money. I would rather Demond than Sorsby, but we just have to get somebody at this point

I mean, isn't this all known already? Seems like less of what you're hearing and more of reading twitter and articles and using common sense.
We knew they've been on Demond for a while. We knew they liked Sorsby and weren't willing to match Tech. We knew there were concerns about Leavitt's health and some of those surrounding him (his brother).
I appreciate the info in one place, but am I missing something here?

Leavitt isn't going to just wait around on LSU to make a decision. Miami will be in the mix for Leavitt.

You’re spot on. Unfortunately our fan base varies greatly in brain capacity and function.
