LSU currently has 15 players signed coming in,

But only 9 officially signed to other schools that's leaving. Is there a chance that LSU fills it's roster, with some LSU players still in the portal, that eventually won't have a place to go? Seems like a gamble if some decide to remain in the portal to long without signing with another school.

It is a risk - once they enter the portal they are a free agent, they aren't guaranteed a spot back at the school so I'd have to think anyone that may want to come back to LSU better be negotiating such a return.

I am sure we are in communication and possibly negotiations with the players we still covet

They'll all end up somewhere if they want to keep playing football. Absolute worst case scenario for them, and we've seen it, they follow the Mississippi River headed north and they'll make it to Southern Unoversity.
