The Atlanta Fed has raised its estimate of fourth quarter gross domestic product (GDP) growth to 5.4%, up from 2.7%, driven by strong consumer spending and a narrowing trade deficit. This morning, the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis announced that the U.S. goods and services trade deficit fell by 39% month-over-month to $29.4 billion in October, marking the lowest level since 2009.

Those are certainly promising numbers. Hopefully, they won't get revised down. I still need to see significant increases in full time hiring before I get bullish on this economy, but positive signs of improvement such as these are always welcome.

Where are those geniuses?

Surely they’ll show up and try to pour cold piss on this news, right?

DEMS still on J6 and racism.....if they take the midterms, I will eat crow!

Having said that, 90% of the DEM voting base does not give one shite about the economy, they just want their free checks!

Bob,
If you look at the unemployment stats, jobs are growing for American workers but are falling for non-American workers. So it looks like little movement, it is actually demographics moving in the direction desired.
